As part of the Data Governance Enablement team, this role is responsible for the configuration of the business glossary and technical metadata in the Informatica Data Governance and Catalog platform. This role may also partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to enable enterprise data governance and metadata management, and data quality. This position enables the organization to have data assets that are discoverable, well-defined, trusted, and aligned with organizational governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in configuring and maintaining business glossary terms, domains, relationships and associations within the Informatica Data Governance and Catalog platform

  • Assist in configuring data catalog sources from various data source systems and schemas, including but not limited to, SAP, SQL Server, AWS S3, Snowflake, Power BI, etc.

  • Partner with technical teams to ensure metadata filters and system account privileges are configured accordingly, and validation of metadata.

  • Assist in the configuration and maintaining of data lineage between data systems or data layers in informatica 

  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions and help translate business needs into Informatica configurations.

  • Participate as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure business glossaries and technical metadata are properly associated and documented.

  • Support testing and validation of metadata changes, enhancements, and platform updates.

  • Learn and apply best practices for data governance, metadata management, and data quality implementations.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.

  • Interest in data governance, change management, and/or cross-functional collaboration.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) or Google Workspace.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with data governance tools, frameworks, or methodologies.

  • Experience in project management or stakeholder engagement.

  • Basic understanding of data analytics or data management principles.

The hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 - $32.00. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: April 27, 2026.
