Assistant to Chief Information Officer:
We are looking for a talented, highly motivated university student looking for an opportunity to work directly with our CIO and learn firsthand how an executive and leader of the IT organization partners with business leaders, strategizes on future technologies, and provides solutions for the company. to stay safe, secure, and compliant at Kyowa Kirin North America (KKNA). You will wear many hats as you jump into a fast-paced environment and produce results. You will work directly for Kyowa Kirin North America’s CIO and attend the same meetings, listen in to the complexities of decision making, understand the real value of collaboration and partnership, and understand the necessity of good communication skills.
This role will work closely within the following areas of IT: Infrastructure, Business Partners, Program Management Office, IT Governance, and Security.
This position is a paid, temporary internship eligible to juniors or seniors within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ. This role is a hybrid role with 2-3 days on site preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend daily meetings with the CIO
- Produce reports at the executive level
- Ensure goals of meetings are revaluated for proper outcomes
- Revise workflows or presentations for delivery to internal or external business functions.
- Coordinate with other business owners and functional leaders with many ICT related projects/programs.
- Create communications at the executive/board level to be send to the enterprise.
- Review ICT programs/projects to determine business outcomes
- Produce KPIs related to ICT programs/projects after identifying proper metric collection
Qualifications/Requirements:
- This position requires candidates to be a rising junior or rising senior in college/university with a major that aligns with the department: Computer Science, Computer or Network Engineering, Information Security, Information Technology, or Business Administration
- Previous internship and/or project experience, volunteerism, leadership in clubs or societies, and participation in student athletics is a plus
- Interns are required to be able to work from May 28, 2024 to August 9, 2024
- The ability to work a hybrid schedule is required
- 1+ years leading or working in a team environment
- Must have good intercommunication and interpersonal skills, as well as a positive and fun attitude.
- Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Princeton, NJ
- This position requires that candidates be able to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing basis without sponsorship.
