What positions are available? 

• We have six early childhood schools in DC looking for excellent educators to join their team.

  • Teachers: Our teachers in grades PreK3 - PreK4 provide play-based learning in a homeroom environment that promotes students’ academic, self-regulation, and social-emotional skills. Kindergarten teachers provide reading, writing, and math instruction in a homeroom environment.

  • Special Education Teachers: Special education teachers work with students to accomplish goals on their individual education plans (IEPs) in both a push-in and pull-out setting. While most schools follow the inclusion model, some early childhood schools also support students who need more individualized instruction through a co-teaching model in their general education classroom.

  • Specials Teachers: Specials, or electives, teachers in early childhood schools vary by school. Current specials offerings in our early childhood schools include physical education, creative workshop, and art.
