About the role
Storm Execution and Support Operations Training, Compliance and Process Improvement is seeking to hire a dedicated, innovative, and highly motivated individual to join its leadership team. Under general supervision of the Manager, the Sr. Analyst is responsible to provide analytical, technical, statistical and administrative support. This includes analysis of training data and reports, developing trends and recommendations to drive the organizations training compliance and employee field readiness. The position works closely with IT in advancing the use of RPA/BOTs to enhance and streamline business processes. This also includes benchmarking within and outside the Company to identify leading practices in training and to develop recommendations that lead to establishing improved processes. The Sr. Analyst must be capable of working independently as well as in teams, understand the vital importance of personnel accountability, demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence, promotes a positive work ethic and customer service mentality in support of our corporate values and mission.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze training trends and compliance data to identify improvement opportunities and support operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain documentation, governance materials, and meaningful reporting metrics.
- Prepare and submit internal compliance reports and develop training scorecards to track compliance percentages across sections, departments, and the organization.
- Manage and enhance bot automation processes; including requirements development, testing, and implementation, while maintaining a strong collaborative relationship with IT.
- Analyze trends in MVCs, safety, and operator errors to recommend training-related improvements.
- Benchmark training and compliance practices with internal and external organizations to identify best practices.
- Create and manage Power BI dashboards and training scorecards to visualize compliance and performance trends.
- Review MOC (Management of Change) forms and ensure alignment with training specifications.
- Present key findings and updates in monthly compliance and process improvement meetings, while delivering weekly analytics and setting internal goals to drive training compliance.
- Creates and sustains a workplace environment that fosters inclusion, leadership, professionalism, safety, operational excellence, integrity, and courtesy.
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields and 3 years of related experience or
- Associate's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields and 5 years of related experience or
- High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields and 3 years of data analytics experience.
- Proven project management experience using tools like Microsoft Planner or Monday.com. Required
- Must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems, with strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP), and working knowledge of SQL, API integrations, and basic coding. Required
- Must be well organized, demonstrate a high energy level, detailed oriented, flexible to handle multiple assignments, and meet stringent deadlines. Required
- Demonstrated experience in creating governance documentation and capturing business processes. Required
- Must have a high regard for personal accountability and understand the critical importance of our commitment to excellence. Required
- Demonstrated ability to manage and implement bot technologies, including PowerApps and Power Automate. Required
- Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with strong problem-solving abilities, sound business judgment, and a commitment to exemplary customer service. Required
- Must have strong data analytics and visualization skills using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or ACL. Required
- Must be proficient in identifying and evaluating potential vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability to support technology advances. Preferred
- Supervisory experience. Preferred
- Demonstrated experience with various electronic systems used in Electric Operations such as WMS, Oracle, and e-train/LMS (Learning Management System). Preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with Electric Operations specifications. Preferred
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Performs work independently with minimal supervision
- Driver's License Required
