About This Job
The AVP, Floor Plan Operations will have primary oversight of floor plan servicing, loan booking, asset management, documentation and reporting. Responsibilities include operational leadership with a focus on departmental execution and performance management including, but not limited to designing, developing, and implementing strategies and tactics to improve internal and external customer satisfaction, reduce processing times, and deliver reporting, tracking, and measurement systems to ensure strong controls, high quality and production results. The AVP, Floor Plan Operations must build team morale, attract new talent as needed, and ensure close coordination and communication within all areas of the bank across multiple sites.Responsibilities:
- Deepen relationships with dealers through day-to-day oversight of active dealer floor plan accounts, leading a business unit responsible for providing best-in-class customer service for a network of marine dealers and manufacturers
- Champion a high performing customer-centric culture, characterized by responsiveness, transparency, innovation and a commitment to meeting borrower needs in a fast-paced environment with complex systems and requirements
- Obtain market intelligence of competitor offerings, economics and success factors
- Lead the identification, design, recommendation and implementation of solutions, working with the business and cross-functional teams to define, document and validate business and process enhancements in support of an enhanced customer experience strategy
- Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of lending regulations, bank policies, and procedures, including all loan systems and programs utilized within the LVF BU
- Ensure that all individuals are adequately trained to support floor plan products and processes to efficiently and effectively provide customer service, while minimizing risk to bank and its customers
- Implement strategies that enhance service levels and compliance within daily operations, driving improvements in customer satisfaction, productivity timeliness, loan retention, covenant management, and quality
- Manage risk mitigation efforts, internal controls and related projects to protect the Bank against operational, strategic, reputational, credit, and compliance risks
- Support cycle of continuous improvement of processes and controls by identifying and communicating opportunities for process improvement, optimizing people, process and technology capabilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in bank operations management, with a focus on lending preferred
- Motivated and extremely organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations
- Experience in data analysis and driving performance through data
- Familiarity with auditing software and equipment
- Excellent resource utilization
- Capable of managing several deliverables at once
- Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
