Marktlink Capital is a Private Equity & Venture Capital (PE & VC) Fund Manager based in the Netherlands, with headquarters in CitySide Amsterdam. We offer entrepreneurs and private investors access to the best PE & VC funds. Marktlink Capital currently has a team of over 55 professionals and manages more than EUR 2,8 billion in capital commitments. This capital comes from nearly 2,200 investors who have collectively invested in over 130 PE & VC funds. 

We’re looking for ambitious master’s students (at any stage of their studies) or bachelor’s students in the final 3–4 months of their degree to join us as Commercial Data Insights Intern starting from January 1st. This 4-to-6 month, full-time internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the investment world and a fast growing company. As our business expands, the role of data becomes increasingly essential in driving strategic and commercial decisions — making this internship ideal for someone who bridges both business and data perspectives.

Your responsibilities

As a member of our team, you’ll collaborate across multiple teams -  from investment and business development to data and operations. You’ll have the chance to combine analytical thinking with commercial understanding, supporting both strategic and data-driven initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Assist in preparing internal reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across multiple tools and platforms
• Develop and support the migration and integration of data between tools or platforms
• Contribute to the creation of quarterly reports for top-performing funds.
• Research and identify potential leads, partners, or market opportunities.
• Support business development efforts through data-driven projects.
• Help manage CRM data and assist with outreach activities.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives by gathering insights and supporting analysis.
• Collaborate with both commercial and technical stakeholders to turn data insights into tangible business actions.

Your profile

• Is nearing the completion of a bachelor’s degree (within 3–4 months) or currently pursuing or recently graduated from a master’s program in business, management, analytics, entrepreneurship, data science, or a related field.
• Is available for a full-time internship (4 to 6 months), minimally 4 days a week or more.
• Has a strong command of English and Dutch, both spoken and written.
• Demonstrates a genuine interest in the sector and its broader context.
• Demonstrates a strong interest in data and is experienced with data management and analysis; coding skills (e.g., Python, SQL) or experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) are a plus.
• Has an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset, able to translate analytical findings into actionable business insights.
• Has a strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Is proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and familiar with CRM systems.
• Is proactive, eager to learn, and motivated to take ownership of tasks.
• Enjoys working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and can adapt quickly to new challenges.
• Communicates clearly and effectively, both in writing and in person, especially when explaining complex topics.
• Is based in or near Amsterdam, or willing to commute to our office.
