Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

The Power Automate team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who:

• Enjoys building modern tools and systems to enable AI Copilot driven experiences.
• Design, develop and deliver high-impact features across the entire software lifecycle.
• Collaborate within the team and with partner teams to deliver end-to-end systems and experiences.
• Ensure software fundamentals of availability, latency, scalability requirements are met in the system.
• Investigate and prototype features with new technologies and frameworks.
• Deliver features in agile and fast-paced environment with high quality.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • OR equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in building and shipping production grade software or services.
• 4+ years of experience with object oriented language and/or React, TypeScript, Database (Azure Storage), Azure Development stack and AI technologies.
• 4+ years of experience in hands-on coding and architecting of a cloud-based service.

 Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Experience with TypeScript, front-end technologies like Redux/React and React Native.
• Experience building scalable applications and services with Azure or other scalable cloud platforms with robust performance, resiliency, telemetry, and security.
• Effective software engineering fundamentals across all phases of software development lifecycle.
• A passion for improving engineering practices and producing high-quality software.
• Self-motivated and customer focused.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills with the ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and eve
