What you'll do
This position involves identifying automation opportunities, developing business cases, managing prioritization and intake, and delivering digital transformation initiatives.
As the strategic lead for large-scale automation, you'll build strong partnerships with key business stakeholders, DTS, and the CAO leadership team to deliver automation solutions. Success in this role hinges on critical thinking, effective planning, and execution, as well as cross-functional collaboration across different teams and locations.
This role is crucial for leading and implementing automation within accounting operations. You'll drive process excellence across the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) organization, encompassing Quote-to-Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, and Hire to Retire processes, as well as ERP, AI/Automation technologies, UIPath, Alteryx, and Tableau applications.
This position is not a people manager role reporting to the Senior Director, Accounting Operations.
Responsibility
Serve as a finance automation team lead to represent the CAO in the overall company automation strategy
Interface with cross-functional teams within the CAO organization to evaluate and advise on the “art of the possible,” automation to drive process simplification and improvements
Partner with the DTS Automation team to develop the intake process, establish prioritization governance, and build ROI metrics to showcase the business value of using automation
Partner across the accounting operations teams to drive automation delivery and ensure alignment on priorities
Work with different technologies and drive the best practices to adopt the right technology for process automation.
Develop a Center of Excellence (COE) for Alteryx to manage standards, share knowledge, and establish best practices
Encourage the sharing of best practices and insights among all team members
Inspire change and collaboration among diverse and distributed team
Job Designation
Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bring
Basic
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
- 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting process automation
- Experience in functional/business process and data analysis focused on the Finance domain
- Experience in business transformational projects/programs globally
- Experience of automation technology, including Alteryx development, UiPath, and Microsoft maker
Preferred
- Experience in a Hi-Tech / SaaS-based company
- Excellent communication skills
Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $112,800.00 - $175,000.00 base salary
Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $106,900.00 - $147,025.00 base salary
Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $106,900.00 - $155,100.00 base salary
Washington DC: $112,800.00 - $155,100.00 base salary
Ohio: $94,500.00 - $129,900.00 base salary
