Looking for college senior or post-grad able to work 28-39 hours per week. Business hours preferred. This is primarily a remote, work from home role with occasional on-site work exposure/opportunity. Internship will begin the second week in January and conclude the last week of May.
Provides practical work experiences to college students assigned to various departments. Each department will develop job standards and guidelines for the position.
Major Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities are assigned based on area of concentration.
- Receives exposure to various aspects of health care from the view of the area of concentration.
- The incumbent is responsible for adhering to established Service Standards.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- None Required.
Education Required:
- High School Graduate.
Experience Required:
- No experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Current enrollment with senior status at a regional accredited college or university. Interns are expected to be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree.
- Grade point average of at least 2.5.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal,
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability in successfully completing tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel.
- Must demonstrate integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Each department will develop mental/physical requirements from the job standards and guidelines.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
