This role focuses on driving finance and accounting domain excellence while leveraging technology solutions to deliver actionable insights, enhance operational efficiency, enable auditability, and modernize financial processes in alignment with federal standards.

The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals who are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Project members are provided the opportunity to interact with our client’s senior management, and to enhance their skills in technical competency, business development, client service, and people development. Our team provides specialized experience and knowledge in financial management, process analysis, risk management, and performance measurement to support project activities

Specific initiatives and work products that this role supports include:

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements over financial tools and templates, and using technology to improve financial management

  • Assessing existing business processes and procedures to identify pain points and areas for improvement. This includes coordination with process stakeholders to complete current-state assessments, review of relevant documentation to gain a thorough understanding, and evaluation and recommendation of future-state solutions

  • Communicating project task updates to senior-level executive clients on a regular basis and confirming shared understanding

  • Coordinating with other team members and/or building necessary skills to develop financial automation, data analytics, data visualization, and/or artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities for financial management use cases. This may include: building financial metrics and supporting dashboards utilizing data visualization software (i.e., Tableau, Power BI, etc.); building low-code applications and user interfaces (using PowerApps, Power Platforms, Appian, ServiceNow, etc.); building AI models to process and analyze high volumes of structured and unstructured financial data (using Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir, Python, R, SQL, etc.).
