Core Prep General Laborer

Job Summary

Core Prep Team Members are primarily responsible for preparing parts for production using various methods. 

Primary Duties

• Breakdown – operate power tool to remove screws, pull off top and remove label off parts and forward to appropriate area, may load parts in oven  
• De-case – load, operate and unload decasing machine  
• Sandbast – load and hold part in sandblast machine to sandblast parts, spray part with air gun  
• Slurry – load and hold part in slurry machine to slurry parts, use air gun to dry  
• Water Jet – load part and operate waterjet machine   
• Salvage – remove from pcp boards with de-soldering tool & soldering pot  
• Paint – prepare parts for painting and paint parts using spray paint equipment  
• Washing – scrub parts with washing solution and water  
• Scraping – use hand scraper to remove labels and excess potting off parts off parts  
• Participate in various improvement activities

• Understand Customer requirements as they relate to their job function  
• Ability to identify and address and/or communicate any potential non-conformances  
• Ability to get to work on time with minimal absences  

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
