40Position Summary
Our lab studies host-microbiome interactions in the reproductive tract, with particular emphasis on viral infections. We use molecular assays, genomics, cell culture, animal models, and patient samples in our work.Job Description
Working Conditions/Schedule
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals. Position may require some weekend hours.
Salary Range
Base pay is commensurate with experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates with prior experience in virology, immunology, molecular biology or related fields are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with one or more of the following: Nucleic acid extraction, sequencing library construction, PCR, cloning, western blots, cell culture, immunofluorescence, animal handling, genomic/metagenomic data analysis.
- Superior organizational and time management skills.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. Candidates with additional education and experience are encouraged to apply.
