Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SAP GTS Director to lead and expand our Global GTS practice. This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for driving delivery excellence, managing client relationships, and leading a high-performing team of SAP GTS professionals across the globe.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical and functional expertise in SAP GTS, combined with strong leadership and project delivery capabilities. You will serve as a strategic advisor to our clients, lead complex GTS implementations, and help grow our practice across key markets. 

What will your day look like?

• Lead SAP GTS consulting team, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management.
• Own the successful delivery of SAP GTS projects - from scoping and planning through execution and go-live.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering guidance on trade compliance, automation, and optimization using SAP GTS.
• Collaborate with pre-sales and account teams to support business development efforts, including solutioning, proposals, and client presentations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP GTS product innovations, roadmap, and best practices.
• Drive operational excellence across projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and help scale the GTS capability across the organization.

Skills and attributes for success:

• 15+ years of SAP experience with a strong focus on Global Trade Services (GTS).
• Proven experience leading SAP GTS projects end-to-end, including at least 2 - 3 full lifecycle implementations.
• 5+ years of experience managing consulting teams.
• Strong understanding of trade compliance, customs processes, and SAP GTS modules (Compliance, Customs Management, Risk Management, etc.).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work across time zones.
• Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25%).

Additional Considerations:

• Prior experience in a leadership role at a consulting firm or SAP partner.
• Experience integrating SAP GTS with S/4HANA or ECC.
• Exposure to industry verticals such as Life Sciences, Manufacturing, or Consumer Goods.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, International Business, International Trade or a related field is an added advantage
