About the role

Summary of Functions

Provides exceptional guest service by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall guest experience within the Spa environment. Assists guests with spa amenities and services while ensuring spa facilities are clean, stocked, and operating efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations, and Northern Quest policies and procedures.

Communicates with spa offerings, services, and benefits to guests.

Maintains working knowledge of spa industry standards, products, and services.

Explains spa protocols and procedures to guests.

Conducts tours of spa facilities for guests and visitors.

Serves beverages and miscellaneous guest amenities.

Monitors guest treatment schedules to ensure timely service delivery.

Maintains cleanliness and organization of restrooms, relaxation lounges, and spa facilities.

Performs housekeeping duties to maintain spa cleanliness and presentation standards.

Maintains a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude with guests and team members.

Assists treatment providers with preparation of treatment rooms, products, and supplies.

Requisitions supplies and spa collateral materials as needed.

Dispenses and serves wine in accordance with applicable policies and certifications.

Participates in scheduled meetings and training sessions.

Conducts inventory counts of products and supplies.

Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

May be required to participate as a panelist for Internal Review Hearings.

Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.

Previous guest service or hospitality experience required.

Spa, salon, or resort experience preferred

Skills & Abilities


Excellent guest service and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to communicate professionally using proper grammar.

Ability to provide accurate and legible communication.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Working knowledge of spa-related computer software and systems.

Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers and other departments.

Other Requirements

Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Maintain complete knowledge of all spa services and retail products.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit.

Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification required.

Washington State Food Worker Card required.

Completion of NQRC Alcohol Server Training required.

Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccinations required.

Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds occasionally.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.

Frequent verbal communication and active listening required.

Frequent repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements required.

Frequent walking and movement throughout the facility.

Occasional sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, and stair/ramp use.

Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, and focus adjustment abilities.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, wet and humid conditions, and outdoor weather conditions. The work environment is generally indoors with moderate noise levels.
