Department Overview
ClariVest Asset Management (“ClariVest”) is an investment management boutique within Raymond James Investment Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of Raymond James Financial. ClariVest is located in San Diego, CA and employs a behavioral approach that focuses on identifying opportunities (optimal entry and exit points) within companies’ fundamental cycles. The team employs a combination of quantitative tools and fundamental research to identify stocks with strong recent fundamentals that are inconsistent with some “common sense”-based expectation.
Job Summary
The summer associate will work closely with the investment management team, and support its work through high-level mathematics, statistics, and data analysis coding languages such as Python or SAS. The role is to enhance investment processes through robust quantitative and fundamental analysis and to serve the investment team on a myriad tasks. The ideal candidate possesses intellectual curiosity and is excited to work in a collegial environment. This role calls for someone interested in the quantitative and fundamental elements that underpin sound investment decisions.
The summer associate position is a temporary role.
