This role works directly with customers to explain the restoration process, assess the scope of work, and lead technicians on job sites. The Lead Technician also supervises, develops, and mentors team members to ensure high-quality service and operational excellence.<br/><br/> </div><div>Qualifications<br/><br/> </div><div>Candidates should meet one of the following experience and certification requirements:<br/><br/> </div><ul> <li> Minimum of 2 years of field experience, and </li> <li> <strong>IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) Certification required</strong>, and one of the following: <ul> <li> IICRC Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT), or </li> <li> IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) </li> </ul> </li> </ul><div> <strong>To be eligible for higher pay rate all 3 certifications and a minimum of 2 years of field experience are required.  </strong><br/><br/>Essential Job Functions<br/><br/> </div><div>The Lead Technician is responsible for:<br/><br/> </div><ul> <li> Communicating the restoration process clearly to customers </li> <li> Providing daily updates to insurance partners and centers of influence </li> <li> Assessing job severity and evaluating the extent of damages </li> <li> Understanding and promoting the company’s operational systems, including: <ul> <li> Company CRM </li> <li> Xactimate </li> <li> Mitigate</li> </ul> </li> <li> Training new employees on technician responsibilities and company procedures </li> <li> Maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times </li> <li> Wearing the company-provided uniform as required </li> <li> Fostering a strong team culture among field operations staff and across the organization </li> </ul><div>Specific Responsibilities<br/><br/> </div><div>The Lead Technician is responsible for:<br/><br/> </div><ul> <li> Following all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures and standards </li> <li> Understanding and adhering to restoration procedures, including: <ul> <li> Water damage restoration procedures </li> <li> Mold remediation equipment and procedures </li> <li> Fire and smoke cleaning tools and procedures </li> <li> Carpet cleaning equipment and procedures </li> </ul> </li> <li> Demonstrating a positive, team-oriented, can-do attitude at all times </li> <li> Completing all necessary paperwork accurately and on time while delivering excellent customer service </li> <li> Maintaining all equipment and vehicles in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition </li> <li> Remaining available for emergency response work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as needed </li> </ul><div>Physical Requirements<br/><br/> </div><div>Candidates must be able to:<br/><br/> </div><ul> <li> Possess a valid driver’s license and safely operate company vehicles </li> <li> Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds </li> <li> Work for extended periods in both large and confined spaces </li> <li> Wear appropriate respirator equipment for extended periods </li> <li> Pass a respirator fit test and medical evaluation</li> </ul><div>Perks:</div><ul> <li>Online Mobile Courses</li> <li>Paid Training for Career Advancement</li> <li>Opportunity to Help People in Times of Need</li> <li>Aggressive Competitive Wages</li> </ul><div>Company and Culture:</div><div>PuroClean, a leader in emergency property restoration services, helps families and businesses overcome the devastating setbacks caused by water, fire, mold, biohazard, and other conditions resulting in property damage.
