The LCH 10P Medical Surgical Unitis an inpatient floor consisting of 24 beds. The 10th floor specializes in the care of patients, 0-18 years of age, with neurosurgical, trauma,orthopedic andcystic fibrosis diagnoses. Ideally, all patients with these diagnoses are admitted to LCH 10 as they require specialized, often progressive, care. This unit was very proud to be awarded the Daisy Team award. They embody the culture of teamwork, flexibility, and care.

Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.

Job Summary

The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
