POSITION SUMMARY
Chadwick School’s Performing Arts Department is looking for an energizing, enthusiastic individuals with theatre and drama experience (professionally and/or in the classroom) and who are excited to support the performing arts department and school productions.
These Theater Tech professionals will collaborate with theatre department members to provide a rich learning atmosphere that aligns with Chadwick's mission and expectations along with professional expertise.
These individuals will support school and performing arts programming in the Laverty Center, the performing arts facility.
The ideal candidate will help inspire a love of theatre, performance, reflection, creativity, and courage in Chadwick students.
ASSOCIATED RESPONSIBILITIES
- Weekly hours would be flexible based on production commitments; there will be after-school, evening, and weekend commitments during various times of the year and, during these times, this individual would in later in the day.
- Support an after-school play/musical theatre experience during the fall semester.
- Support programming in the performing arts facility, including running lights and sound during assigned school or performing arts events, including some evening and weekend commitments. The school's Technical Director will provide all necessary training for these responsibilities.
