The position is in Aarhus, Denmark, where you are surrounded by energetic and professional colleagues. You will also work closely with colleagues in Porto, Tianjin, and Chennai.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coordinate supplier selection, qualification, negotiation, and contracting for blade-related categories</li> <li>Manage supplier relationships, including risk mitigation, performance tracking, and strategic account planning</li> <li>Contribute to the development of procurement strategies and technology roadmaps for blade components</li> <li>Act as procurement lead in cross-functional projects and cost-out initiatives</li> <li>Support new product introductions by ensuring timely and effective procurement deliverables</li> <li>Initiate RFIs/RFQs with new and existing suppliers to optimise the supply chain based on total landed cost</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in a relevant field or a bachelor's degree with equivalent experience</li> <li>Effective communication and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)</li> <li>Experience with SAP and SAP Ariba is an advantage</li> <li>Fluent in English, both written and spoken</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proactive and curious, with a strong drive to initiate and lead improvements</li> <li>Collaborative and team-oriented, with a focus on building strong internal and external relationships</li> <li>Structured and analytical, with a fact-based approach to decision-making</li> <li>Committed to delivering results and ensuring effective implementation of initiatives</li> <li>Strategic thinker with a holistic view of how procurement impacts Vestas' blade production and cost-efficiency</li> <li>Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving innovation in procurement practices</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What we offer</strong></p> <p>We offer you an exciting and very stimulating job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development within the renewable energy industry.
