Our Cloud team is responsible for developing our high-performance SaaS Cloud Platform. This Enables Akamai-ESG to release faster, larger scale, and monitor our various deployments. It's a diverse team that includes both SREs and Software Engineers. Our tech stack spans Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, ArgoCD (GitOps), Terraform, CI/CD, Datadog, Groundcover, <Golang, Python and more.

 

As a Site Reliability Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for:

 

• Developing, improving, and maintaining Guardicore's Cyber Security SaaS platform.
• Troubleshooting multiple Kubernetes platforms.
• Practicing infrastructure as a code (IaC) using Terraform and GitOps, utilizing ArgoCD to automate and manage infrastructure.
• Evolving our tooling, logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to increase observability and transparency.

Coding internal tooling using multiple programming languages (golang/python/etc.).

• Triaging and Solving platform issues during day-to-day operations.
• Collaborating with Guardicore's Development and Research groups to constantly improve our platform.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

 

• Relevant experience as an SRE, DevOps, or similar technological crafts.
• Linux admin and troubleshooting experience
• The mindset and approach for automating away from manual efforts (Python, Golang).
• Experience in modern container orchestration projects, preferably Kubernetes.
• Experience with at least one of the biggest cloud vendors - GCP, Azure or AWS.
• Experience building and maintaining monitoring and alerting capabilities using tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, etc.
• An innovative approach, with the ability to quickly learn technologies and build solutions.
• Leading complex cross-functional teams on technical projects
• Independence in working end-to-end on solutions to given requirements
