We are looking for a new  Senior Accounting Specialist to join our team in Cluj-Napoca, on-site at our central office!

As Senior Accountant in our Financial Shared Service, you will be delivering first class accounting services to our internal clients and you will work in a dynamic team with high focus on personal development with challenging, varied tasks and responsibility from the outset. 

 

What kind of work will you be doing? 📊

• Prepare monthly schedules and reports for month-end.
• Compile Balance Sheet reporting package for Management review.
• Generate and submit Financial Statements to the Consolidation team.
• Coordinate Intercompany AR/AP activities monthly.
• Process standard and recurring journal entries.
• Prepare invoice requests for recharges.
• Lead general accounting activities for month-end closing.
• Coordinate Intercompany Receivables and Payables settlements.
• Review financial results and initiate corrective actions.
• Perform Statutory Vs Corp reconciliations using Oracle.
• Prepare VAT, EC Sales & Intrastat Reports for Tax Authorities.
• Provides training and guidance to the junior members of the team.
• Assist with projects and IT issue resolution.

 

What will make you successful? 🚀

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accountancy preferred.
• 3+ years of general accounting or accounts payable experience.
• Proficiency with ERP Systems, preferably Oracle.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in an international and culturally diverse organization.
• Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior.
• Advanced/native level English proficiency.
• Organized, communicative, analytical and customer order orientated.
