Customer Activation Specialist

<p><b>About Planet</b></p><p>Planet is a global provider of integrated technology and payments solutions for retail and hospitality customers.</p><p>We create great experiences for the millions of people who use our payments, software, and tax-free solutions every minute of every day.</p><p>Planet empowers its customers to deliver great customer experiences by combining payments and software in ways that drive greater loyalty, increase revenue and save time.</p><p></p><p>Founded over 35 years ago and with our headquarters in London, today we have more than 2,500 employees located across six continents serving our customers in more than 120 markets.</p><p></p><p><b>What you will do</b></p><ul><li><span>Review customer data, based on available documentation like contracts, Account Management team or internal systems and make sure the billing and contact details are correct</span></li><li><span>Correct customer data in the system upon investigation, including setting up proper invoices and issuing credit notes if necessary</span></li><li><span>Send customer notification letters regarding billing changes and implementation of those changes into the ERP</span></li><li><span>Contact customers by phone and email regarding missing data</span></li><li><span>Track all necessary actions and work with internal Premier and Account Management teams to obtain proper information</span></li><li><span>Review customer outstanding balances and providing statement of accounts</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who you are</b></p><p>Successful candidate is a team player and independent <span>problem-solver. </span> You are curious and look to correct root causes to prevent future service and financial impact. You have a knack for numbers, are very outcome oriented, and have strong prioritization skills. You have an excellent understanding of accounting practices and reconciliations.
