About the Role

We are looking for a collaborative Business Analyst to engage with Account Executives, Clients, and internal teams. The role involves leading discussions to gather business requirements from external clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leading Business requirements discussions, working closely with external Clients, Epic Owners, Business Owners, Product Managers, Product Owners, and Technology to relay business context while documenting functional and non-functional requirements, diagraming, and acceptance criteria.
• Understanding business processes, gaps, and challenges and convert that knowledge into effective and efficient solutions.  In this role, you will assess completed tasks, extract key insights, and refine procedures based on project outcomes. Your goal is to foster and share best practices with the team.
• Maintaining working relationships with client and internal business and technical contacts in support of ongoing operational effectiveness.
• Serving as an escalation point for issues requiring functional engagement.
• Mentoring and assisting other Business System Analysts in requirements management, coordination, and analysis. It provides support and guidance to ensure effective performance in these activities.

Requirements

• Seeking an ideal candidate with a deep understanding of the role. Should possess excellent skills in requirements documentation. Additionally, they should show significant expertise as a business analyst or leave of absence management.
• Experience in Absence & Disability, HR Industry, Benefit Programs, and/or Health Insurance Technology Solutions
• The ideal candidate should showcase proficiency in tools such as Excel, Word, Notepad++ or configuration integration platforms.
• Successful track record of delivering detailed requirements for projects of remarkably high complexity, specifically around leading/driving business transformation or business process automation.
• Ideally, candidates should have completed a bachelor’s program in a technical discipline or have relevant work experience. Additionally, possessing IIBA CCBA and/or CBAP credentials is advantageous.
