Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):

$55.914 - $72.147 - $88.380


 

The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position.  The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices. 


 


What You Will Do
Assists patients, staff and providers as needed to maintain a high level of efficiency of operations and customer service while providing quality care to a designated patient population. Responsible for supervising and coordinating operations of assigned departments. Provides direct patient care in the clinical setting. Acts as a patient and employee advocate, works cooperatively with physicians and assures communications with and among staff and managers in accordance with the Sharp Rees-Stealy mission and goals statements.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Clinical and leadership experience
  • California Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) - CA Physical Therapy Board -REQUIRED
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED

Essential Functions
  • Budget adherence
    Co-ordinates the resource management of the department through monitoring department expenses and productivity.
    Works with the program manager preparing and managing the budget and meeting standards for operational costs.
    Makes timely decisions focused on performance and results.
  • Community and growth
    Facilitates departmental programs through supervising of inservices, PT interns and training programs.
    Works with the manager in program development.
  • Human resource management
    Directs the hiring process, orientation, and training and supervises the daily work of PT staff.
    Conducts pa's within two weeks of employees anniversary.
    Monitors staffing and FTE ratios
  • Productivity
    Treats 6-8 patients per day.
  • Professional development
    Professional development and inservice training.
    Facilitates and encourages the inservice and continuing education training of staff and self.
  • Quality
    Complies with all SHC policies for confidentiality in documentation.
    Completes timely documentation, monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Quality and service
    Shares clinical expertise.
    Demonstrates a courteous professional behavior towards patients, family members, physicians and staff.
    Exceeds clinic standard for patient satisfaction.
    Demonstrates the AIDET principles, service and behavior standards as part of the sharp experience.
    Consistently rounds on patients and staff.
