Must-haves:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or other related discipline and typically 17 or more years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Advanced experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Thorough understanding of SAWE RP7 and prior experience authoring SAWE RP8 reports
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Up to 50% travel to Wichita, KS required for the position.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
- Familiarity with wind tunnel and aircraft flight test.
- Exposure to aircraft stability principles and control system design and analysis
- Knowledge of industry standard aerospace principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, and fundamentals of flight mechanics
