About The Opportunity

You are the frontline architect of safety and security across our production facilities and restaurants. While our systems tell us what is happening, you are in the field to determine why and how we fix it. You will partner with operational leaders to move beyond reactive fixes, driving the implementation of scalable engineering controls and process changes. Your goal is to ensure that every facility is a fortress of safety and that our field leaders are empowered to handle any escalation with confidence.

The Impact You Will Make

Field-First Performance & Trend Execution

  • Operational Immersion: Spend the vast majority of your time on-site at production facilities and restaurants. You are not a "desk manager"; you are a visible partner to our kitchen and warehouse teams.

  • Data-Driven Interventions: Analyze trends surfaced in Origami to execute targeted field actions. If the data shows a spike in lacerations or security breaches in a specific region, you are on-site to diagnose the root cause and implement the cure.

  • Closing the Compliance Loop: Partner with the EHS Data, Systems & Compliance Manager to ensure that "Actions Due" in the system translate to "Actions Completed" in the real world. You own the physical verification of corrective actions.

Strategic Stakeholder Influence & Engineering Controls

  • Securing Buy-In: Meet regularly with Senior Stakeholders (Directors of Ops, GMs, and Facilities) to present the business case for safety and security investments.

  • Engineering-Led Safety: Lead the charge in transitioning from behavioral fixes to permanent engineering controls. You will identify and advocate for facility upgrades, ergonomic kitchen modifications, and advanced physical security tech that reduces our reliance on "reminding" people to be safe.

  • Scalable Process Change: Turn "one-off" fixes into company-wide standards. You ensure that a safety win at one production site is scaled across the entire network.

Escalation Leadership & Crisis Guidance

  • Emergent Response: Serve as the primary field-facing lead for safety and security escalations. Whether it's a critical injury or a security threat, you provide the boots-on-the-ground guidance our leaders need.

  • Leadership Coaching: Empower site-level managers to own their safety culture. You provide the technical expertise and coaching required to handle OSHA inspections and security events calmly and correctly.

  • Field Investigations: Lead comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for high-severity events, ensuring that the field's perspective is accurately captured in Origami to prevent recurrence.

How You Partner with the Systems & Compliance Manager

  • Execution vs. Architecture: They maintain the "Single Source of Truth" in the safety tech stack; you execute the "Single Source of Action" in the field.

  • The Feedback Loop: You provide the qualitative context (the "story" behind the incident) that allows the Data Manager to build more accurate predictive models.

  • System Integrity: You ensure field teams are utilizing Origami and Service Channel correctly, ensuring the data coming from the sites is "bulletproof."

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience: 7+ years in Safety & Security management with a heavy focus on multi-unit food production, manufacturing, or complex retail environments.

  • The "Origami" Edge: Strong proficiency in using Origami Risk to drive field audits, manage compliance, and track corrective actions.<
