Analyst Developers own nonfunctional requirements and are responsible for ensuring that their code complies with coding standards, is secure and performs well. At entry-level, you are responsible for learning best-practice in these areas from your senior peers.</span></span><br/><br/><b>About the Role</b></p><p>As a Senior Analyst Developer at FNZ, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex financial requirements into high-performing, secure systems. You will collaborate with analysts, testers, and developers to define user stories and design APIs, ensuring solutions are well-defined and meet technical specifications. You will be instrumental in developing real-time transaction processing systems and intuitive user interfaces that support millions of trades globally. Your responsibilities will include resolving technical issues, conducting code reviews, and mentoring new team members. Proactively resolve technical issues and create novel solutions using cutting-edge technology.</p></li><li><p><b>Analysis &amp; Design</b>: Assist in defining user stories and acceptance criteria. Ensure solutions are well-defined, fit-for-purpose, and meet requirements. Provide technical solutions and recommendations and help design and build APIs and external system interfaces.</p></li><li><p><b>Development</b>: Translate complex financial requirements into secure, high-transactional systems. Design and build intuitive user interfaces and financial tools. Develop real-time transaction processing systems for global markets. Collaborate with Solution Consultants and Analyst Testers, ensuring solutions are robust, reusable, and meet requirements. Build high complexity features end-to-end and contribute to global technical strategies.</p></li><li><p><b>Quality Assurance</b>: Adhere to code management, review, and security standards. Write automated unit tests and perform manual testing. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and best practices. Design or redesign core system functionality.</p></li><li><p><b>Collaboration &amp; Communication</b>: Promote the development team internally and externally. Share knowledge, best practices, and opportunities for cross-project solutions. Mentor new starters and provide training on areas of expertise. Perform the role of Lead Developer for client projects if required.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Experience Required</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Education and Experience</b>: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or a proven track record of commercial experience with C#, .NET, and SQL. Proven experience in delivering large-scale technology projects and managing successful technology changes.</p></li><li><p><b>Leadership and Collaboration</b>: Confident in taking a lead role in a delivery-focused environment. Skilled at working with various stakeholders within a project setting.
