AESC is headquartered in Japan and has battery manufacturing locations in Japan, UK, China, and the U.S. We are currently seeking candidates to fill an IT Infrastructure and Network Manager role to support our Florence, South Carolina plant. Job Summary
The IT Infrastructure & Network Manager is responsible for establishing and leading the network and infrastructure for the Florence, SC Plant. This role will also help both the administrative network and manufacturing network associated with multiple production facilities. This also includes both on site and remote resources across the U.S region along with remote monitoring and management solutions and remediation.
Key Responsibilities:
- The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished.
- Manage technical team responsible for the uptime of administrative and manufacturing networks across multiple facilities.
- Coordinate and provide oversight for preventative maintenance and life cycle management of both server and network hardware, including change management and effective communication across the organization.
- Interact with Global Infrastructure and Security team to assure compliance and consistency of solutions and processes.
- Manage and maintain IT Governance with regards to access controls, network security, security awareness/updates, intrusion detection and disaster recovery.
- Read, understand, interpret, and communicate technical systematic issues effectively to management and peers and demonstrate these skill categories: analytical, technical, managerial, and interpersonal.
- Work independently with business and technical users to define concepts under the general direction of Sr. Manager.
- Support the user community in creating business case by defining their system needs and by estimating appropriate high-level costs and resource requirements. Challenge users on their assumptions and proposed execution plan where necessary.
- Support application development by being part of a project team and following SDLC processes.
- Support Systems KPIs by nurturing a mentality to continuously improve the environment.
- Support major and minor infrastructure implementations.
- Work with various vendors on major/minor implementations while ensuring you push for competitive pricing and exemplary workmanship.
- Provide oversight and lead troubleshooting efforts to restore critical application downtime or functionality loss caused by various issues like network response time, latency, or hardware performance.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and manage priorities.
- Interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Minimum Qualifications – Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree required (Technical, Engineering or a related field preferred) with 6-10 Years overall IS/IT experience and at least 5 years’ experience managing teams of network and storage technologist.
- At least one of CCNA, CCNE or CCIE, CCIE preferred.
- Experience with Cisco network Solutions, Citrix, and Hyper-V
- Experience with Storage Area Networks, PURE storage preferred.
- Experience with ITSM frameworks - remote monitoring, managem
