About the role:
Boston Scientific is seeking a Senior Clinical Data Analyst to support clinical and business decision-making through the strategic use of data. This role will be responsible for analyzing clinical datasets, identifying trends and insights, and developing actionable reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders. The incumbent will collaborate cross-functionally to define data needs, maintain data integrity, and deliver high-impact analytics solutions that support strategic goals.

 

Work Mode:
This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our BSC Minnesota or Marlborough office minimum three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include : 

• Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into data requirements and reporting solutions.
• Collect, manage, and analyze clinical and operational data to generate insights through ongoing and ad hoc reporting
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and analytical tools using Tableau and other platforms
• Identify trends and opportunities for business value through data visualization and storytelling
• Support the development and communication of the data analytics strategy and operating plan
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical, Biostatistics, Marketing, Safety, and IT to ensure alignment and impact.

 

Required qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree and 3 years equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL (including CTEs, window functions, regex, string manipulation)required
• Experience developing dashboards in Tableau Desktop (LOD expressions, dashboard actions, filtering techniques, layout containers)
• Strong understanding of effective data visualization principles
• Experience with Git and DBT for version control and data transformation

 

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior experience working with clinical data and technologies.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across functions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with medical coding standards and regulatory frameworks is a plus
