Quality Enterprise Services Sr. Project Manager
The Quality Enterprise Services Senior Project Manager provides operational leadership over a project portfolio mainly dedicated to transformational development in support of the Quality and Regulatory organization. They are accountable for the development, delivery, and scheduling of projects, in accordance to quality and regulatory demands and compliance requirements.
Your role:
- Lead the development and execution of quality based programs (multiple disciplines), ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements. Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and a variety of departments to ensure quality requirements are integrated into all stages of the program.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., FDA, ISO) and ensure that all quality programs are compliant.
- Identify and assess risks related to quality programs and implement effective mitigations strategies.
- Define KPIs and establish reporting mechanisms to monitor program effectiveness. Regularly report on the status of quality programs to senior management.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and drive efficiency. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action process when quality issues arise.
- Manage program budgets, allocate resources, and ensure optimal utilization of personnel and tools.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality programs and facilitate internal and external audits as needed.
- Make decisions and recommendations based on facts and data.
You're the right fit if:
- You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in project and program management roles working in and around quality management systems in a medical device environment. You are experienced at deploying lean methodologies, and project management methodologies to drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Your skills include a strong knowledge of relevant medical device industry standards (ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, etc.), strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.), and lean methodologies to help drive continuous improvement
- You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Life Sciences, Quality Management); master’s degree preferred. PMP certification preferred but not required.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- You’re an excellent communication with a proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and complex projects. You have strong problem-solving skills and an ability to lead teams without having expressed authority.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
