Pratt & Whitney (P & W) Military Engines F135 Fleet Operations is seeking a Lead Field Service Engineer (FSE) to serve supporting both the F-35 Final Assembly & Checkout (FACO) and Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul & Upgrade (MROU) operations Fort Worth, Texas.

What You Will Do: 

  • As the lead FSE, be the focal point for the F135 FSE team, to achieve F-35/F135 program compliance objectives to include Global Trade Compliance (GTC), Quality initiatives (CORE), & Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S).
  • Collaborate regularly with internal PW teams (Customer Support Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Center, ALIS teams, etc.) in troubleshooting and resolution of emerging Customer issues and maintain flexibility to adapt to and resolve constantly changing Customer priorities.
  • Advise and assist in the performance of F135 propulsion system maintenance, ensuring activities are performed in accordance with technical data and maintenance procedures. Coordinate F135 propulsion system maintenance activities with the PW team and Lockheed Martin.
  • You will use self-initiative and judgment to identify problems, conduct investigations to determine root cause, and coordinate solutions between PW, Rolls-Royce, Lockheed Martin and the US Government.
  • Must be able to fulfill the Site Manager or Maintenance Manager roles and responsibilities when required and in their absence with integrity.

This position is on-site and based at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Fort Worth, TX

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering/technical field, plus appropriate experience required.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in engine/aircraft maintenance, logistics, logistics support, supply chain management, or support equipment management required.
  • At least 3 years of Leadership, Supervisory and Management experience required.
  • Must be U.S. Citizen due to government contracts
  • Candidate must possess a US Govt. Secret Clearance or have the ability to secure one for position requirements.  Candidates that have had a clearance that has recently lapsed (not more than 2 years), may apply for consideration.
  • Must be able to support occasional off-shift coverage and/or extended hours.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Background in ITAR/ITC is desired for this assignment.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office products, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience in F-35/F135 production, flight test, customer support, maintenance, and/or program management.
  • Prior military service in maintenance/logistics also a plus.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith
