Job Description Summary:

This position is responsible for safely driving the 18 wheel mobile health and/or the 44 ft. RV mobile unit as assigned and registration on board the units.

The lead driver oversees the staff of drivers for our Wellness on Wheels Mobile Clinics. Primary responsibilities include communication with drivers during their routes, providing mentoring as necessary, and collaborating and interacting with others in a positive and effective manner. The Lead Driver trains new staff, schedules the current driving team, and prepares reports on the staff for upper management. The Lead Driver will also be responsible for ensuring all drivers and are properly maintaining repairs and maintenance for all vehicles. Other duties include: work directly with vendors to receive quotes on repairs and maintenance, provide daily supervision and monitor to ensure proper and consistent performance of duties. The Lead Driver will also be responsible for maintain appropriate license and registration for all mobile units.

Minimum Qualifications:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

Completion of training, CDL license. Good driving record. Good communication and customer service skills. Computer skills. Routine preventive maintenance for tractor-trailer. CPR Certification. Five to six years over the road and city driving.
