Thenamaris (Ships Management) Inc. manages Tanker vessels, Thenamaris ConBulk Inc. manages bulk carriers and containerships, while Thenamaris LNG Inc. manages LNG and LPG carriers.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The Assistant Accountant in the MGA section reports to the MGA Supervisor and is responsible for processing and managing the accounts of vessels' Masters. The role involves several tasks aimed at maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing valuable financial insights. Key responsibilities include posting accounting entries related to MGA bills, preparing, and executing payments for crew members, ensuring timely and accurate communication with onboard Masters, and performing reconciliations between the Master’s General Account and the accounting books. In addition, the Assistant Accountant may participate in various team projects aimed at refining and optimizing MGA processes.</p><p>The position is permanent and is based in Athens (Vouliagmeni), Greece.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>One (1) to three (3) years of relevant professional experience in shipping, external auditing, or multinational companies</li><li>University degree in Accounting &amp; Finance (including degrees from former Technological Educational Institutions).
