The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the market day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimization of financial processes. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Business Controller, the region finance community and the R2R teams to drive financial excellence and contribute to the success of our organization.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Manage and consolidate month-end close process for affiliates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.</li><li>Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and oversee month-end and year-end close processes.</li><li>Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.</li><li>Oversee consolidation of financial data for different entities and manage treasury forecasting.</li><li>Develop strategies to optimize working capital, improve cash flow, and oversee balance sheet accounts.</li><li>Establish and maintain internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.</li><li>Lead and mentor finance support teams, foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>Proven experience in a senior accounting role working with transversal teams. Knowledge on Transfer Price very desirable.</li><li>Robust knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and tax regulations in the Benelux markets. It will be a very strong advantage to have experience in statutory accounting and taxes in other markets from the region.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong team player with excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, deal with ambiguity and work in matrix organizations.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in accounting software, ERP, and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
