Position Specific Description
Join our dynamic and immersive Business Rotation Program designed to cultivate future leaders and provide a comprehensive understanding of our organization. This program offers talented individuals the unique opportunity to gain exposure across various departments and functions, accelerating your professional growth and development. As a Business Rotation Program Participant, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of our company while expanding your skill set, network, and business acumen.
Responsibilities
• Engage in rotations across key business units, including operations, marketing, finance, strategy, and more.
• Develop a deep understanding of our industry and organization through hands-on experience, projects, and mentorship.
• Receive mentorship from seasoned professionals to enhance your skills and leadership capabilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues from various backgrounds and disciplines, fostering a well-rounded perspective.
• Build a robust professional network by connecting with leaders, mentors, and fellow participants.
• Participate in workshops, training sessions, and seminars to refine your business knowledge and leadership skills.
Minimum Qualifications
• MBA with undergraduate degree in business, management, economics, or a related field.
• Strong academic performance and a track record of leadership and extracurricular activities.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated adaptability, creativity, and a passion for learning.
• Prior internship experience in business or related field is a plus
Job Overview
Employees in this role rotate through various departments with the intent of filling a permanent position within a 12 to 18 month timeframe. This position will learn the various aspects of the NextEra's business functions, which consist of Business Management, Development, Finance or Commodities and Retail Markets. Individuals may be required to travel throughout the service territory, which may require both field and office type work environments.
