About the role

Amazon Smart Vehicles is building the next generation of in-vehicle AI experiences — delivering Amazon's Custom Assistant (ACA) to global automotive OEMs. We're looking for a Senior Program Manager to drive organizational effectiveness, program execution, and cross-org coordination. This role as a Program Manager will include combining org-level operations with hands-on program delivery, external team coordination, and process excellence. You will be accountable for overall program strategy as well as tactically driving teams inside and outside the organization to deliver.

Key job responsibilities
Own organizational goal updates (Kingpin) — ensuring timely, accurate reporting and escalating at-risk goals

Drive the Monthly Business Review (MBR) — structuring the deck, aligning inputs from teams, and presenting to leadership

Lead quarterly planning exercises — aligning priorities across ASV and partner organizations (Alexa org, 2P teams) to ensure commitment and capacity match

Drive feature programs (e.g., TTS) end-to-end from a schedule, milestone, and stakeholder management perspective

Run beta programs — recruiting participants outside ASV, collecting feedback, triaging into JIRA, and driving action on findings

Drive crisp decision-making through mindful discussions and written narratives

Demonstrate good judgment in how and when to escalate without damaging relationships

A day in the life
Your morning starts with reviewing goal and program dashboards — checking what's on track, what's slipping, and what needs escalation. Mid-morning shifts to cross-org coordination: syncing with Alexa org or 2P teams on open dependencies, getting committed dates, and unblocking items stalling delivery.

Afternoons alternate between driving feature programs (test bench readiness, beta feedback triage, milestone tracking) and org operations (MBR prep, quarterly planning inputs). You'll run weekly mechanisms, prepare leadership narratives, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks between teams. You routinely deliver the right things with limited guidance.

Problems you'll solve: Keeping the org's operating rhythm tight — goals current, programs landing, 2P teams accountable — while solving ambiguous problems, proactively mitigating risks before they become roadblocks, and continuously improving how we work.
