Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Perform duties necessary to prepare, confirm counts to production ticket, stretch wrap, balance pallet loads, etc. expedite and dispatch transfers and shipments.
• Successfully complete the OSHA approved PIT training and operate all PIT equipment safely
• Perform material handling fork truck duties as assigned
• Accurately maintain complex records of transactions
• responsible for 5s in all work areas

Education (minimum education required)

High School Graduate

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

• Being able to successfully train and learn how to drive PIT equipment (lift trucks),
• Review Production items for Shipment Quality, and prepare/load material on trucks for shipment,
• Be able to complete/execute the necessary document requirements for shipping, including system transactions
• Load material correctly on outgoing semi trailers
• Maintain 5S requirements for area cleanliness
• Be able to work individually and within a Team environment on activities
