Responsibilities
Responsibilities: - General ledger preparation, reconciliation and transactional level review, financial reporting for review for tribal government clients - Prepare and finalize month end close - Prepare and/or review workpapers and schedules to ensure audit readiness - Provide onsite services as requested by client - Participate in cross utilization of teams and/or lead software implementations, conversions and setups as assigned - Completion and/or review of debt, assets, gaming revenue, grant workpapers - Develop and maintain relationships with clients and their personnel - Obtain client expectations from management team and develop plan to meet client expectations - Act as a Peer Advisor and mentor for new staff and provide valuable feedbackKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required. - Public accounting experience e.g., outsourced accounting or audit preferred. - Experience working with tribal government or casino enterprises preferred. - Knowledge with Uniform Guidance (or CFR 200) is preferred. - Experience with Sage Intacct and MIB is preferred. - Approximately up to 10% travel is required to client sites in the Midwest to western US.
