Job Description

  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
  • Provides administrative support in the department (e.g. opening mail, screening phone calls, photocopying, filing paperwork, word-processing).
  • Supports department’s efforts on various activities (e.g. client visits, travel arrangements, calendars, agendas, quote letters, correspondence, documents, shipping, etc.), as appropriate.
  • Reviews and proofs paperwork/documents/minutes.
  • Enters, updates, and revises data for NIMS, as appropriate.
  • Performs requisition and material inventory duties for the department, as appropriate.
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.   

  • Requires unquestionable customer service skills, meticulousness, and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software (e.g. Word, Excel, FSA, etc.).
  • Demonstrates ability to act independently, exercise discretion and interact with departmental staff and clients.
  • Ability to learn new tasks
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently'
  • High School diploma or equivalent. With 1+ years of applicable experience.

Additional Information

  • Job may require long periods of time working with computer equipment in office environments.
  • No heavy weight lifting required.
  • Overtime and weekend work as required.
  • Will be exposed to potential food allergens.
