- Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required
- Oversees the Sourcing and Vendor Management office that is responsible for supporting the end-to-end Third Party relationships for Global P&T Infrastructure & Engineering and Enterprise Protect
- Leads the team that oversees multiple strategic, high-profile and/or enterprise vendor relationships & negotiations impacting stakeholders across LOBs
- Leads strategic relationship(s) and provides guidance to key TD business executive teams within the portfolio
- Accountable for the development of strategies/initiatives to achieve a high-quality vendor service while supporting the growth objectives of the P&T Organization
- Ensures contract negotiations and vendor relationships are continuously optimized and providing strategic value to the organization
- Enhances on-going monitoring of the overall portfolio
- Provides strategic guidance to business/functional leaders to ensure escalated concerns/governance issues are appropriately managed
- Manages vendor risks and issues in alignment with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework, 3PCRM requirements; provide governance to assure key vendor are operating in alignment with internal control and regulatory requirements
- Responsible for supporting direct VP with transforming key processes towards the targeting operating model
- Drives data strategy to enable transparent stakeholder reporting, KPIs, KRIs etc., for our VMO
- Acts as the lead in any change management required coming from Enterprise Partners
- Accountable for developing and executing category strategies, performance management, reporting, and issue escalation for assigned vendors
- Impacts stakeholders across multiple lines of business, manages strategic relationships, and provides governance to ensure vendor operations align with internal controls and regulatory requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required
- Master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are considered an asset
- Senior leadership experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, ideally within a large enterprise or financial institution
- Proven track record managing strategic, high-profile vendor relationships and negotiations
- Experience overseeing large teams and complex vendor portfolios
- Expertise in contract negotiation, vendor risk management, and compliance (including alignment with Third Party Risk Management frameworks)
- Strategic planning and change management experience, including process transformation and operating model delivery
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills (e.g., driving cost reductions, reporting KPIs/KRIs)
- Talent management and leadership development capabilities
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (business, finance, risk/control functions)
- Demonstrated leadership in managing line-of-business partners and enabling change
- Proven ability to attract and develop superior, results-driven talent
- Experience supporting speed, simplicity, and agility in decision-making
- Strong collaborative, enterprise mindset and approach to problem-solving
- Capabilities in strategy development, financial management, and business acumen
