Responsibilities
We currently have a great opportunity available for a Planner/Buyer Specialist. This position is responsible for the day-to-day inventory planning activities for the various SAI & 3PL distribution centers and responsible for the purchasing of products from both international and domestic suppliers (inclusive of Sysmex Corporation, Sysmex Reagents America, and others). Planning responsibilities also include generating and evaluating the monthly demand forecast, regular follow up and monitoring of open purchase orders, and regular analysis of inventory planning to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field required.
- Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with demand/supply planning in an ERP system or supply chain software system. SAP experience highly preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with excellent written and oral presentation capabilities.
- Excellent Excel skills required. SAP experience highly preferred.
- Collaborative skills, including strong communication ability, willingness and ability to work well with others, ability to influence others and project management skills.
- Ability to understand MRP.
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing work environment and work in cross-functional teams.
- Customer focused.
- Must be extremely detail oriented with strong analytical ability.
The salary range for this role is $61,306 to $96,339. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision, and dental insurance), an annual incentive bonus, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees.
