This recruitment is being conducted under the Operation Hire Hawaii (OH-HI) project, a targeted outreach initiative featuring an expedited hiring process, fast-tracking qualified applicants into job opportunities throughout Hawai’i.

Salary: $3,606 to $4,563 per month (SR-11, Step C to I).
Note: Hiring rates will be based on availability of funds, the applicant's qualifications, and other relevant factors.
Examples of duties
Reviews applications and supporting data for compliance with insurance licensing requirements of the State; reviews documents required to be filed by individuals and agencies to determine continuing qualification for licenses; assists in scheduling licensing examinations and monitors and scores examinations; and performs other duties as required.Qualifications
To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK:
The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
Basic Experience Requirement: Experience which demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English, and the ability to make basic mathematical computations, including percentages and averages. Graduation from high school, or equivalent, may be substituted for the experience.
General Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible office work experience which involved the performance of a variety of clerical work including the review and processing of material (e.g., forms, documents, etc.) for completion, accuracy and conformance to standards.
