Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Reads and understands blueprints, engineering drawings, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products; communicates best practices with peers
  • Performs transactions in Shop-Trak; providing updates status on projects, material moves, and scrap for all assembly & packing operations; able to train peers  
  • Collect parts and supplies for assembly and packing processes; conduct Inventory of tools, parts, and supplies and resupply as needed
  • Proficiently uses various hand tooling and other equipment while performing assembly and packing operations efficiently in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Performs quality checks to ensure the product meets quality standards; able to train peers 
  • Identifies product defects and report necessary nonconformances to Senior Production Associate, Supervisor, and/or Quality Inspector
  • Perform reworks/repairs in accordance with industry best practices and/or engineering instructions; able to train peers
  • Assists engineering in process improvement by providing relevant information
  • Assist supervisors with closing and opening procedures, reports issues as needed
  • Coordinates movement assembled parts and/or products to the next step operation
  • Prepare, Assemble, Package, and Label completed projects for shipping
  • Unload, receive, and store raw materials and supplies
  • Able to operate, maintain, and troubleshooting machines of the felt value stream in absence operators filling critical gaps in production
  • Completes work as required to meet production and schedule requirements
  • Participates in shift huddles and meetings
  • Maintains logs as required
  • Follows safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment as required
  • Maintains equipment and work areas; cleans and performs basic repairs as needed
  • Other duties may be assigned
