Casino Cashier - On Call - Mandalay Bay

THE JOB:  

Are you a hard worker that appreciates a fast-paced environment? It is the responsibility of the Casino Cashier Representative to process customer and interdepartmental monetary transactions while providing excellent guest service promoting the MGM Rewards program. By understanding the guests’ unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories that they can carry with them well past their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:  

• Ensures security of Company assets; including cash, chips, and tokens, during the shift 

• Balances all appropriate banks within the Cage with supervision  

• Completes reports or forms accurately

• Proficient in marker payments & issuance, deposits, withdraws, and chip bank duties  

• Will assist with Poker and High Limit Cages 

• Promote and enroll guests into MGM Rewards program

• Issue FREEPLAY, complimentary play coupons and adjust tier credits  

• Ensure consistent promotion of GameSense to all guests 

• Performs other job-related duties as requested 

The IDEAL CANDIDATE:  

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Customer service experience, preferably in a resort setting 

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 

• Proficient in the management of cash transactions 

• Currently has a Sherif's Card or the ability to obtain one

• Previous experience in Cage or bank teller preferred

STARTING PAY RATE:

$17.50 per hour
