Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Develop the strategic vision for Meloxicam inclusive of both new product launch planning and life cycle management.

  • Work collaboratively to develop and execute the overall HCP and consumer marketing strategy for Meloxicam.

  • Responsible for developing strong relationships to collaborate with internal stakeholders, physicians/KOLs, agency partners and external vendors to create innovative life cycle and launch tactics.

  • This individual will be accountable for agency partner selection and management.

  • Lead and manage a skilled professional and consumer marketing team, in future.

  • Prepare HCP and Consumer brand and tactical plans and associated budgets, manage execution against plans and budgets, ensure on-time delivery within budget of all marketing initiatives.

  • Develop the strategy, concept, messaging, and media plan for successful promotional campaigns.

  • Lead Marketing Insights to establish ways to measure impact, report results, and adjust plans accordingly.

  • Ensure close alignment and collaboration with field sales and market access in the development and execution of key initiatives such as messaging, promotional tactics, sampling programs, peer-to-peer programs, etc.

  • The individual will work cross-functionally with key commercial stakeholders including Sales, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Finance, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance and will collaborate with other members of the organization as required.

  • This individual will be a key contributing member of the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT).

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree. An MBA is preferred. 12–15 years’ experience in pharmaceutical marketing with experience in sales, professional and consumer marketing, or related fields. Marketing experience within Pain category is preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

  • Demonstrated success developing and executing life cycle and launch plans for prescription pharmaceutical brands for healthcare professionals, as well as the patient/consumer audiences.

  • Experience with sales and marketing in the pain pharmaceutical space, marketing in the acute pain category preferred.

  • Experience with building relationships and professional advocacy among healthcare professionals.

  • Experience with effective strategies in digital, multi-channel marketing, loyalty programs, as well as experience with DTC campaigns (including concepting, production, talent management, and Media planning and buying).

  • Experience with effective strategies for non-personal promotion such as PR, Social Media, Digital channels, Point-of-Care Channels, etc.

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines, compliance, and promotional policies

  • Ability to build and lead effective teams and work across multiple stakeholders required.

  • Must possess strong analytical skills, creative and critical thinking skills, clear communication skills - both verbal and written, strong interpersonal skills, and financial/budgetary/forecasting acumen.

  • Ability to travel up to 30%

  • Position will directly supervise employees, in future. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
