Job Description
- Problem Solving: Apply problem-solving and analysis skills to implement effective practical solutions to real-life production usage.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the fab, business, finance, and IT teams to identify root causes, define strategic and tactical needs, and drive the appropriate business and technical solutions.
- Modeling: Build, develop, validate, and apply mathematically based decision algorithms, heuristics, optimization, and simulation models and tools
- Fab Capacity Planning: Maintain, enhance, and increase the capability of the current Fab Planning Model. Partner with planning teams in support of the S&OP activities including but not limited to capacity planning, wafer cost, and supply management.
- Process Improvement: Identify and drive key process improvement projects with China, Japan and U.S. teams to streamline the visibility of supply, supply constraints, and capacity constraints.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Systems Engineering, or foreign equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in the Semiconductor or technology industry.
- Experienced in Linear Programming, Mixed Integer Programming, Constraint Programming, and Stochastic Programming
- Fluent in at least one Object-Oriented Programming language (preferably Python)
- Experienced in working with enterprise optimization solvers (ILOG CPLEX, Gurobi, FICO Xpress)
- Skilled in database management systems (MySQL, SSMS, etc.)
- Familiar with capacity management/supply chain management/manufacturing operations/development/ new product introduction or operations engineering.
- Fluent in Data visualization and analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire)
