AboutSkin Dermatology & DermSurgery, one of our valued partners, is looking for a skilled General Dermatologist to join their fast-growing, state-of-the-art clinic in Greenwood Village, CO.
At AboutSkin, the team is dedicated to their patients and providing the highest standards of care. Dermatologist and practice director Joel Cohen, MD, leads a team of highly experienced, talented, Board-Certified Dermatologists devoted to advanced surgical procedures and medicine, as well as a range of effective and safe cosmetic treatments. Each patient’s plan is built specifically for him or her, with personalized care designed to deliver results that maximize both beauty and health.
This role is responsible for assessing patients’ skin and medical history to devise and implement effective treatment plans. The dermatologist will conduct follow-up exams with patients and monitor progress, changing treatment or referring patients to specialists when needed. The ideal candidate will stay current on the latest procedures and studies and be excited about working with a dedicated team of providers committed to our patients’ health.
Schedule and Compensation:
- 4 day work week, avg 30-35 patients per day
- Clinic opens at 8am, lunch from 12-1pm; clinic closes at 5pm
- Net commission of 40% to 45% on collections
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer
- Perform skin checks and biopsies, excisions, and other dermatological procedures
- Offer patient education on skin health, preventative care, and treatment plans
- Address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism
- collaborate with colleagues to provide exceptional patient care and offer expertise on challenging case
- Ensure safe and effective medical and surgical practices following industry standards and patent safety guidelines
- Work closely with primary care physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care for patients with systemic or multi-speciality concerns
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough patient records in compliance with practice and regulatory standards
- Stay current with emerging dermatology research, treatments, and technology through continuing medical education (CME) and professional organizations
- Contribute to the education of staff and peers through in-service training and collaborative learning opportunities
- Work collaboratively with administrative and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations, including patient scheduling and workflow and provide feedback to enhance practice policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- MD/DO with board certification in Dermatology
- Active or ability to obtain a medical license in the state of Colorado
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and impeccable bedside manner
