Seasonal Tax Manager - Corporate Compliance and Provision - *Remote*

The opportunity
EY is currently seeking experienced seasonal tax professionals. You’ll join the team at a critical time, leveraging your expertise to help support our clients. You'll receive hourly, over-time eligible pay, and a unique opportunity to enhance or refine your skills within one of our high performing tax teams.
Your key responsibilities
As a seasonal tax manager your main priority will be corporate compliance and tax provision review, assisting companies with all aspects of their preparation of the tax provision. Expectations around hours are discussed during the interview process for each role, so you'll be able to share your availability and know what to expect prior to coming aboard. In this role you'll be able to work remotely from within the United States, with no travel required.

Knowledgeable with accounting for federal income tax, tax accounting for financial statements

Experience in corporate tax planning and compliance and federal income taxation

Understanding of ASC 740 and/or IAS 12 under IFRS experience

Comfort with working remotely in a virtual team environment
To qualify for this role you must have

Valid US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active state bar membership

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline

A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in tax provision, tax accounting, and corporate tax compliance

Relevant tax experience in business or industry with a broad exposure to federal income taxation

Strong analytical skills, written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal; problem-solving ability and attention to detail
