Purpose

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the promotional and communications campaigns of 15-18 live continuing legal educations conferences and related online offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely and collaboratively with program directors, senior managers, and marketing team members to coordinate and execute marketing and communications campaigns for a portfolio of approximately 15-18 live annual conferences, as well as a possible assortment of webcasted seminars and recorded eProducts, including development, scheduling, timely production and execution of all promotional print and email campaigns, registrant communication, timely collection and review of copy and graphics, and coordination of service providers to ensure all campaign elements execute on schedule. Liaise as directed by program directors with UT Law CLE co-sponsors and other conference sponsors regarding joint marketing efforts to obtain and provide needed copy, list, and campaign coordination. 

  • Demonstrate proficiency using proprietary content management system, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as software for coordinating and executing marketing campaigns, such as Emma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Qualtrics in addition to various online and social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. Incorporate new software offerings as needed and teach other team members how to use them. Create and refine custom searches for data extraction from proprietary "Admin" customer database. Normalize data and incorporate as needed into marketing campaigns.

  • Other related functions as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of one year of marketing, communications, or other related professional experience. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and/or priorities with minimal supervision, self-motivation, and the ability to learn quickly.

  • Comfort with high-profile constituents.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 

  • High degree of accuracy and ability to meet deadlines. 

  • Excellent computer skills, including database management and MS Office. 

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Three to five years of marketing, communications, or other related professional experience.
