SUMMARY
-General and routine custodial service functions within the warehouse
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Maintain safe operating skills on motorized industrial equipment such as Walkie Rider and Floor Scrubber
-Adhere to all safety standards, rules, and needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
-Disposal of corrugated cardboard
-Disposal of trash
-Maintain good housekeeping through warehouse and in aisles
Sweeping
Dusting
Safe use and disposal of cleaning solutions
Clean-up of non-Hazardous liquids and spills
-Will perform a variety of other housekeeping/custodial duties as assigned
-Timely and Regular attendance
QUALIFICATIONS
-To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. KNOWLEDGE
-High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
SKILLS
-Ability to read and interpret written material that covers safety rules, operator and maintenance instructions, and procedures
-Proficient work performance and safety records
-Ability to work with minimal supervision
-Must successfully complete the training courses on all required equipment and obtain license
Walkie Rider, Electric Stacker, Electric Pallet Jack, Compactor
-Ability to apply rational thinking skills to trouble shoot issues in order to carry out essential duties and responsibilities
-Ability to trouble shoot issues involving minimum complex variables in standardized situations
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
-Ability to reach, push, pull, and regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
-Ability to maintain sharp awareness as the employee is exposed to multiple moving mechanical parts
-Ability to hear over the moderate noise level that applies to the work environment for oncoming PIT equipment and all safety alarms and announcements
